About Quiltoku

Quiltoku is a daily colour-logic puzzle. It follows the same rules as Sudoku, but swaps the numbers for colours, shapes and patterns. If you can spot what's missing from a row, you can play.

A new puzzle arrives every day, and the difficulty climbs as you play. New mechanics are introduced one at a time, each with a short explainer the first time you meet it.

Why no numbers?

Number puzzles can feel like arithmetic homework. Colours and shapes keep the focus on pure logic, and they make the puzzle easier to read at a glance and more welcoming to people who have never tried Sudoku.

Free, and it works offline

Quiltoku is free to play. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. Once the game has loaded, it keeps working without a connection, and you can add it to your home screen on iPhone, iPad, Android or desktop. The site is supported by advertising.
